Because the closing time is suspended, patrons of the parish fair in the Bonn district of Beuel can be seen being whirled through the air, feasting on cotton candy or enjoying a tastey Kölsch beer until the crack of dawn. Some 550 carnival rides, lottery stands and food tents take part with a front that stretches for 4.7 kilometers of the 80,000 square meters of the festival area. Over 90 dealers participate in the market offering traditional articles of clothing and antiques. The palette ranges from hats to socks, from suspenders to suits, and housewares are surely not to be missed. As with every year there will be new attractions as well as longstanding favorites that will be fill visitors with thrills, fun and amusement.
